This is a wide category which includes projects that have implemented a comprehensive zero carbon policy in their approach, demonstrated by using the most up-to-date sustainable construction methods and materials, or by adopting embedded carbon software to reduce carbon emissions. The category can also cover the adoption of efficient water management solutions, transitions to sustainable energy resources, retro construction projects and projects that facilitate easy and sustainable decommissioning at the end of life. This award is aimed at celebrating the achievements of teams who have been able to adapt and work together effectively. Entries are welcome from all sectors and from teams working across different organisations.
